Helemaal gratis nieuwe bandjes kijken met een lekker drankje erbij, dat is het principe van het Open Podium op vrijdagavond. Nieuwe bandjes krijgen de kans zich te presenteren aan het publiek en als live liefhebber zie je ze als eerste.
World of Stone is a young, Dutch band, playing celtic folk(rock) music, and especially covers from Blackmore`s Night. Even though we love all the original BMN songs, we don`t copy the songs we cover. We give it a little bit of our own touch by changing some instruments etc. Michael en Tjarda started making music in the summer of 2006. We started the official band World of Stone march 17th 2009. Later, Schaap (Maarten) joined in.
Buxom Prime was found in spring 1996 and originally consisted of drummer John Admiraal and two guitarists, Patrick Hagedoorn and Erik Bruggeman. Shortly after that, another guitar player was added, called Herman Verhoef and Patrick decided to start playing bass. With guitar player Erik as a singer a band was born.
Almost instantly all kind of ideas were gathered, while playing a few covers in order to get to know each other musically, and the band started working on their own songs.
Although the musical tastes and influences were quite diverse within the members of the band, it was soon clear that the style of the new band would grow into some heavy guitar driven rock music, with both fast and heavy parts as well as softer and tender songs.
